Meet the Founder

In 2008, Founder and Counselor, Holly Jenks, began her journey into the field of counseling and graduated with her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She then went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from West Coast Bible College & Seminary where she was also ordained as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to her education, Holly completed various internships whereby she served in medical hospitals under the direction of various physicians and health professionals; and served as a first responder support for the victim services unit at her local police department. At the completion of her education, Holly counseled individuals with a wide range of issues under the observation of multiple pastors and ministry leaders. She has also attended various training sessions and seminars led by ministries who are committed to inner healing, deliverance, and spiritual growth including but not limited to: Gateway Church Freedom Ministry, Freedom Fighters, Deeper Walk International, Life Model Works, Married for Life, Crisis Response International, and Healing & Training the Nations. Holly is also passionate about neuroscience and aims to stay informed of the latest research and evidence-based methods available in both Christian and Secular therapy. Holly is a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP), and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). Her areas of special interest include but are not limited to: Crisis Intervention, Compassion Fatigue, Grief, Trauma, PTSD, Domestic Violence, and Family Dynamics. In 2020, Counselor, Holly Jenks, launched InCourage Healing Ministries with the mission of partnering with Jesus to set the captives free and bring healing and restoration to those in need (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1, Jeremiah 30:17). Today, Holly Jenks, continues to serve her community as a Christ-Centered Biblical Counselor as well as a Licensed and Ordained IFOC First Response Law Enforcement Chaplain.
